Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

A newly emerged region along the southern central meridian, NOAA 11247, was the source of four C-class flares yesterday and shall be the new target region for today. The region has a bipolar configuration and has emerged into the remains of NOAA 11234 from the previous rotation. Good chance for further B- and C-level activity.

The position of NOAA 11247 on 9-Jul-2011 at 09:30 UT is:

S18E05, ( -83", -350" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
