MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar flare activity remains low. The largest event in the past 24 hour period was a C1.8 at 09/02/15:15 UT. The source region for this event was target region NOAA 1281. Both 1281 and 1283 (N12E40) are capable of producing C-class events in the next 24 hour period.

The position of NOAA 1281 on September 02 at 15:30 UT is: S21E03 (Solar X = -046", Solar Y = -450")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
