Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA region 11996 has fully rotated beyond the North West limb. NOAA 12002 is fragmenting in decay phase, showing a decrease in spot area and increase in number of spots. This region has also decreased in magnetic complexity and is classified as a beta-gamma/E-type sunspot group. At this point we finish the MM#003 Major Flare Watch. More C-class activity is possible in the following 24 hours, with a chance for an isolated low M-class flare.

The position of NOAA 12002 on 15-Mar-2014 at 01:30 UT is:

S18W19, ( 297", -188" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
