MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar flare activity has been at a low level for the past 24 hours. NOAA 2036 continues to decay following the major M7.3 event yesterday but is maintaining a beta-gamma magnetic configuration. NOAA 2035, S15W27, is also magnetically complex displaying a beta-gamma configuration. Both 2036 and 2035 are capable of producing C-class events with a chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hours. A major flare event is less likely in the next 24 hour period.

The position of NOAA 2036 on April 19 at 15:30 UT is: S16W50 (Solar X = 705", Solar Y = -208")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
