Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is at a moderate level. Yesterday's target NOAA region 12056 has increased in spot area and number of spots over the past 24 hours and is classed by NOAA/SWPC as a beta-gamma-delta/E-type sunspot group. However, the reported trailing spot delta appears to be a false limb-ward polarity reversal in the line-of-sight magnetic field. This region has produced a C1.4 flare and several H-alpha flares since the M5.2 flare on 8-May-2014 at 09:59 UT (note the revised start time by NOAA/SWPC). The MM#003 Major Flare Watch will continue for the next 24 hours as NOAA 12056 has continued to show evidence of minor magnetic flux emergence. More C-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours, with a chance for another flare above the M5 level.

The position of NOAA 12056 on 9-May-2014 at 12:00 UT is:

N04E37, ( -577", 110" )
