Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The level of solar activity is low to moderate. Yesterday's target (NOAA 12130) was responsible for C-class activity since the previous message. NOAA 12127 released a M1.5 flare on 1-Aug-2014 at 17:55 UT, the largest event since the previous message. Meanwhile, a series of C-class events has occurred in NOAA 12132, as well as flux emergence within the region's intermediate portion. The region is currently classed as a beta-gamma-delta region. Further C-class activity is expected with a chance for an M-class flare.

The position of NOAA 12132 on 1-Aug-2014 17:40 UT is:

S19E36, ( -531", -381" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
