Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity has returned to low levels. Both NOAA 12157 and 12158 produced a ~C3 flare since the last message. NOAA 12157 has decayed significantly as it approaches the western limb, while NOAA 12158 has undergone rapid flux emergence over the past few hours, and has been reclassified as a beta-gamma region. NOAA 12158 shall revert to being the target region with intermediate level events possible over the next 24 hours.

The position of NOAA 12158 on 15-Sep-2014 at 15:35 UT is:

N16W62, ( 811", 207" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
