MM#003 Major Flare Watch
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 2205 was the source of an X1.6 event (11/07/17:25 UT) since the last message. 2205 is maintaining its large and magnetically complex E-type/beta-gamma sunspot group with delta configurations located within the intermediate and trailing portions of the region. Another major flare =/>M5 is likely and even another X-class flare is possible in the next 24-48 hour period.
The position of NOAA 2205 on November 08 at 16:00 UT is: N16E24 (Solar X = -380", Solar Y = 214")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
