Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Fri, 23 Jan 2015 15:47:30 +0000 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, The target region near the southeast limb has now been designated as NOAA 12268. It appears to be a simple beta region and had been relatively quiet since the M1.4 flare yesterday. The only noteworthy event today was a C4.3 flare at 02:48 UT. The region may be showing signs of decay but still has the potential to produce further C-level activity, with slight chance of an isolated low M flare. The position of NOAA 12268 on 23-Jan-2015 at 12:35 UT is: S10E60, ( -832", -124" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
