Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at very low levels with GOES X-ray flux flat at B3 level. Yesterday's target region NOAA 12331 is rotating over the west limb, so is NOAA 12327. Another active region NOAA 12333 is visible on the solar disk, but shows a simple alpha configuration. There is an unnumbered small region in the southeast quadrant, which seems to connect two large filaments. Today we switch the target to this unnumbered region. There is a chance of filament eruption in the next few days.
The position of target region on April 29 at 11:35 UT is:
S19E32 (Solar X = -500”, Solar Y = -280”)
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
