MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
NOAA 2390 has completed west limb passage. We will switch to a region that NOAA reports is located beyond the southeastern limb. The new target region was the source of a limb occulted long-duration B7.9 event at 08/02/22:43 UT. This event was associated with a CME. B-class activity probable with a chance of an isolated C-class event in the next 24 hour period.
The approximate position of the target on Aug. 03 at 11:00 UT is: S09E89 (Solar X = -934", Solar Y = -149")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
