Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Thu, 6 Aug 2015 09:51:30 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, The level of solar flare activity during the past 24 hours was low. The largest event was a C1.0 produced by target region NOAA 2396. 2396 continues in growth phase adding sunspot area and sunspot count and is maintaining its weak beta-gamma magnetic configuration with bright H-alpha plage. B-class events expected. Another C-class event is possible with even a slight chance of an isolated low-level M-class event in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 2396 on August 06 at 12:30 UT is: S17E21 (Solar X = -325", Solar Y = -366") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
