Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. Yesterday's target region NOAA 12396 has rotated up to the South West limb and has remained flare quiet since the previous message. An emerging active region in the South East quadrant has been newly numbered as NOAA 12401 over the past 24 hours and is designated a beta/B-type sunspot group. This region was the source of four C-class events in the past 24 hours, including the largest event of the period (a C1.9 on 14-Aug-2015 at 01:55 UT). Further C-class activity is expected over the next 24 hours, with a chance for an isolated low M-class flare if 12401 continues to emerge new magnetic flux.
The position of NOAA 12401 on 14-Aug-2015 at 12:30 UT is:
S11E43, ( -637", -258" )
