Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Thu, 22 Oct 2015 12:32:07 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA 12436 has grown slightly over the past 24 hours, increasing marginally in sunspot area and number of spots. This region has remained classified as a beta-delta/E-type sunspot group, but recent magnetograms indicate it may have lost its small delta spot. 12436 again produced the largest magnitude flare since the last message, a C7.7 on 21-Oct-2015 at 17:48 UT. More C-class activity is expected in the next 24-hour period, with a small chance for a low M-class flare. The position of NOAA 12436 on 22-Oct-2015 at 11:30 UT is: N08E10, ( -160", 47" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
