MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Target region, now numbered NOAA 2470, has almost completed east limb passage but is still too close to the limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration. 2470 was quiescent in the past 24 hours but C-class events are possible and there is a slight chance of an isolated M-class event in the next 24 hour period. The largest x-ray event in the last 24 hour period was a C5.3 at 12/13/10:34 UT produced by decaying NOAA 2468 (S15E30). The optical event was a double-ribbon flare located on either side of an eruptive filament located on the region's main magnetic inversion line.
The position of NOAA 2470 on December 13 at 15:15 UT is: N13E78 (Solar X = -930", Solar Y = 222")
