Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar activity is at the B-level. The region on the southeast limb has been quiescent since the last message. It is now on the disk and appears to be spotless. A newly emerged beta region in the northwest quadrant, designated as NOAA 12505, has produced some low-level events and shall be the new target region. The region appears to show signs of polarity mixing in its core and may produce some C-class flares over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12505 on 21-Feb-2016 at 15:31 UT is:
N08W41, ( 632", 223" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
