MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Dear RHESSI Collaborators,
Solar flare activity is currently at a very low level. The background x-ray flux is flat at B1.4. The EFR target region (now numbered NOAA 2521) has now stabilized displaying a D-type sunspot group with a very weak beta-gamma magnetic configuration. B-class events possible with only a slight chance of a C-class event in the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 2521 on March 13 at 15:35 UT is: N19E09 (Solar X = -143", Solar Y = 426")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
