Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has reached a low-C level since the last message due to a partially occulted C3.8 flare at 02:44 UT today from an unnumbered region near the southeast limb. This region was also a source of two high-B flares (B7.3 and B9.8). Today the target region shall switch to this limb region from NOAA 13628. 13628 has not produced any flare in the period. Besides, some other regions (S23W87, N16W87, N25E48, S11W16) also produced several >B5 flares. More high-B activities are expected, with a good chance of additional low-C flares from various regions in the following 24 hours. The approximate position of the target on 5-Apr-2024 at 11:30 UT is: S08E89 (-950", 150") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
