To MM#07 / JOP 104 participants,

We nicely observed the C5 flare from new AR 9167 at 06:40. Beautiful spectra with enormous brightenings in Fe XIX. I hope that last nights message was received in time by other parties and that we have coverage from other instruments. 06:40 UT is a good time for mid- and east-European observatories.

We will prepare a list of events, which we think may be worthwhile to look at. Other parties are welcome to give any kind of additional input. We have to structure this huge amount of data and to start the data reduction with a clear strategy for optimum scientific return.

Pointing for Sep 17, 21:00 to Sep 18, 21:00 (unchanged):

x=-980, y=150 (SOHO co-ordinates) N 11 , E 90 (heliographic)

Regards,

Werner
