Subject: MM#07 / JOP 104 Pointing for September 27, 2000

To MM#07 / JOP 104 participants,

We had quite some activity with high-velocity events in our FOV, most of it related to the prominence, though, which evaporated over several hours.   The present position of the slit seems to be the best choice on the east limb for the time being.

So the SUMER pointing until September 27, 21:00 UT will be as before:

x = -980", y = -250" (slit from -100" to -400") (SOHO co-ordinates) S 14 deg, E 90 deg (heliographic at limb)

With best regards,

Klaus
