Subject: MEOC Campaign Target

To MEOC participants,

The only really good target for the MEOC campaign is the combination of active regions NOAA 9213 and 9218 in the NW. There ia a tall dark filament located between these two regions which has the potential to erupt. We hope to watch this target for the next two days.

For limited-field instruments we suggest centering on the filament. The heliographic pointing is N18W22 at 0600 UT on Nov. 5, 2000. SOHO and TRACE co-ordinates are X=346", Y=241" (thanks to NOAA/SEC for the pointing information).

Regards,

Bill Marquette, Sara Martin, and Alan Kiplinger
