Dear Colleagues,

This is just a reminder -- we start to test the Max Millennium default target selection, announcement, and reporting of observations tomorrow! Details are in the following message, from MM News.

Best wishes,

Dick

DEFAULT HESSI COLLABORATION MM OP #009 WILL START 1 FEBRUARY ------------------------------------------------------------

Max Millennium Observing Program #009 is the default program for context and flare observations from ground-based and space-based instruments and observatories in collaboration with HESSI. To prepare for the HESSI launch on March 28, we will start this program on February 1st, less than three weeks from today. Our goal is to have all the mechanisms of daily target selection and reporting of observations in place and debugged by the time of HESSI launch. For details on this program go to the Max Millennium web page: http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/op009/op009.html If your instrument or observatory wishes to collaborate with HESSI, we ask that you follow this plan as often and as much as your circumstances permit. To receive the daily target messages, which will come from the Max Millennium Chief Observer at Big Bear Solar Observatory, you need to be enrolled on the MMmotd list. You can check by clicking "View List" in the MMmotd box on the page http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/mmlists.shtml
