Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear HESSI collaborators:

The position of the target of choice for 4-feb-2001 00:00 UT is:

NOAA 9330, N25 E18, Solar_X = -268", Solar_Y = 500".

NOAA 9330 is now a large beta-gamma-delta region consisting of a compact area of bright plage in H-alpha and an extensive coronal loop system. Althought the region has been relatively quiet over the past 24 hours, C- and M-class events are possible due to the emergence of new flux about the leader spot.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher.
