Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear HESSI collaborators:

Today, the target of choice is NOAA 9334.

The position of this region at 5-feb-2001 00:00 UT is:

N11 E40, Solar_X = -609", Solar_Y = 265".

NOAA 9334 has shown persistent growth in area and magnetic complexity over the past 24 hours, evolving from a beta to a beta-gamma region. There has also been minor flux emergence about the leader spot, which could produce an increase in activity - expect C- and possibly M-class events.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher.
