Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear HESSI Collaborators,

Yesterdays target of choice, NOAA 9368, produced a C7.3 at 19:27 UT on 7-mar-2001 and an M5.7 at 11:18 UT on 8-mar-2001. The region has continued to grow in sunspot area over the past 24-hours although the trailer spot is begining to fragment. The magnetic complexity of the region also remains high, with C- and possibly further M-class events possible.

The position of NOAA 9368 on 9-mar-2001 00:00 UT is:

N25 W33, ( Solar_X = 476", Solar_Y = 498" ).

Regards,

Peter Gallagher, BBSO/NJIT.
