Dear HESSI collaborators,

As expected, the extremely active group NOAA 9393 which produced the ~X20 on April 2, rotated onto the disk early today. From BBSO full-disk H-alpha data, the region is still composed of an extremely large leader spot, but it is difficult to estimate the regions magnetic configuration at this point.

The position of this region on 19-apr-2001 00:00 UT is:

N15 E69, ( solar_x = -860", solar_y = 277")    Regards,

Peter Gallagher and Bill Marquette. BBSO/NJIT
