Dear HESSI collaborators,
NOAA 9455 has continued to grow in size and complexity over the past 24-hours and produced several C-class events together with an M1.0 at 03:00 UT. Further flux emergence has also been observed to the north of the region, which could result in increased activity: C- and M-class events expected.
The position of NOAA 9455 on 15-may-2001 15:00 UT is:
S17 W33, ( solar_x = 494", solar_y = -242" )
Regards,
Peter Gallagher and Bill Marquette, BBSO/NJIT.
