Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear HESSI Collaborators,

Another 24 hours has elapsed with only minor solar activity to report (low-level C-class events from AR9483 and AR9484). NOAA 9483 has decayed significantly so we have to switch targets to the recently-emerged NOAA 9484 located in the SE quadrant. AR9484 is currently displaying a beta-gamma magnetic configuration and bright H-alpha plage. C-class event expected.

Note: There is a reversed polarity EFR located within the north trailing portion of NOAA 9475 (N27W06, 6/2/16:30 UT).

The position of AR9484 on June 2 at 16:30 UT:

S07E27 (Solar_X = -428", Solar_Y = -109")

Regards, Bill Marquette NJIT/BBSO
