Dear HESSI collaborators,
NOAA 9563 is now classified as a beta-gamma-delta due to the emergence of a small region of negative polarity flux in the penumbra of the leader spot. This region is expected to continue to produce C- and M-class events.
The position of NOAA 9563 on 3-Aug-2001 16:00 UT is:
N25 E22, ( -321", 314" )
