Dear HESSI collaborators,

NOAA 9574 is now classified as a beta-gamma-delta region. The leader spot contains several channels of negative polarity within its penumbra, while the trailing portions have decayed somewhat.

The position of NOAA 9574 on 13-Aug-2001 16:00 UT is:

S04 W34, ( 528" , -155" )
