Dear HESSI collaborators,

Both the leader and follower portions of NOAA 9574 have decayed since yesterday's message, although the region still offers the best chances for flaring activity.

There has also been a large flux emergence at ~N14W55, which we will continue to monitor.

The position of NOAA 9574 on 15-Aug-2001 16:00 UT is:

S04 W6, ( 826", -118" )

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/20010815/9574.html for further details.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher and Bill Marquette, BBSO/NJIT.
