Subject: MM#009 HESSI Default Target

Dear HESSI Collaborators,

There are three regions capable of producing C- and M-class events. NOAAs 9591 (S18W33), 9599 (S19E25), and 9600/9601 (N14E45/N09E47). The large delta located in the trailing portion of 9591 appears to be in the begining process of dividing into two separate sunspots, but a few new sunspots have emerged adjacent to the delta. 9599 is magnetically complex with a beta-gamma-delta configuration and 9600/9601 is a beta-gamma with a tiny weak delta. 9591 produced a nice M1.5 event today at 17:57 UT - based on the flare, We will stay with 9591. The morning MOTD e-mail message bounced.

The position of target region, NOAA 9591, on August 30 at 19:00 UT: S18W33 (Solar_X = 492", Solar_Y = -386").
