Dear HESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 9607 and 9608 continue slow development. Both regions are capable of continued M-class events. NOAA 9608 appears to have developed additional magnetic complexity and if growth continues, has the potential to produce a major flare.

The position of NOAA 9608 on September 9 at 15:00 UT: S26E24 (Solar_X = -348", Solar_Y = -513") If possible, include NOAA 9607 within your field of view: S17E08 (Solar_X = -126", Solar_Y = -390")

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm for further details.
