Dear Colleagues,
Several active regions on the sun today are capable of producing M-level activity (NOAA 9608-S27W17, 9610-S14W03, 9616-S12E71) At this time, target region 9608 is in slow decay phase, but is still the largest and most magnetically complex region - a major flare is possible.
The position of NOAA 9608 on September 12 at 18:00 UT: S27W17 (Solar_X = 248", Solar_Y = -531")
See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm for further details.
