Subject: MM#009 HESSI Default Target

Dear HESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 9608 has switched back into decay phase. A major flare is still possible, but not probable at this time. NOAA 9616 is mostly unchanged (decay in trailing portions and slight growth just south of the leader sunspot) and is capable of producing additional M-level events. NOAA 9610 is in decay phase. 9608, at this time, appears to be the most interesting target.

The position of NOAA 9608 on September 15 at 19:00 UT: S28W55 (Solar_X = 690", Solar_Y = -505")
