Subject: MM#009 HESSI Default Target

Dear HESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 9608 continued slow decay except for new flux (located just west of the the large sunspot) that emerged since the last message yesterday. 9608 produced a few C-class events and the M5.6 event at 9/16/03:53 UT. 9608 continues to be the most interesting target. Additional C- and M-class events expected with the slight chance of a major flare before 9608 rotates beyond the SW limb.

The position of NOAA 9608 on September 16 at 17:00 UT: S28W64 (Solar_X = 757", Solar_Y = -490")
