Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target 

Dear HESSI collaborators,

Solar activity is extremely low at the moment, with the X-ray background now at B-class flux levels. There are also very few spot on the disk bar two small clusters in the SE.

NOAA 9653 and NOAA 9650 produced several C-class events yesterday, and could produce further low-level events today.

The position of NOAA 9653 on 8-Oct-2001 16:00 UT is:

S22 E28, (-418",-443")

The position of NOAA 9650 on 8-Oct-2001 16:00 UT is:

S14 E09, (-145",-331")
