Dear HESSI collaborators,
The beta-gamma-delta region, NOAA 9672, produced four C- and two M-class events yesterday. The region maintains strong gradients across the inversion line, which has become more extended over the past 24-hours.
The neighbouring region (NOAA 9670), which is within 10-15 heliographic degrees of NOAA 9672, is also likely to produce activity.
The position of NOAA 9672 on 24-Oct-2001 10:00 UT is:
S18W06, (95",-378")
See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/20011024/9672.html for further details.
