Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear HESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 9715 has decayed somewhat in magnetic complexity and has lost sunspot area and count, but we will continue to select it as the target. NOAA 9718 (S06E07) has increased its sunspot area slightly and continues to maintain a delta magnetic configuration. Both 9715 and 9718 have the potential to produce C- and M-class events.

The position of NOAA 9715 on December 3 at 17:00 UT: N04W47 (Solar X = 712", Solar Y = 062")

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest for further details.
