Dear HESSI collaborators,

NOAA 9733 is still classified as a beta-gamma region and is expected to continue to produce C-class events with a chance for an M.

NOAA 9742 is also developing in magnetic complexity and is expected to become tomorrows target as NOAA 9733 rotates off the disk.

The position of NOAA 9733 on 19-Dec-2001 15:00 UT is:

N13 W74, (914", 226")

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/9742.html for further details.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher, Emergent IT/NASA GSFC.
