Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target 

Dear HESSI Collaborators,

Target region, NOAA 9742, has increased magnetic complexity and sunspot area and count since yesterday and finally produced a major event (M7/1b) at 12/26/05:40 UT and an M1.8 at 12/26/12:26 UT. A 10Mev/PCA event began at 12/26/06:10 UT and a CME was associated with the M7 event. C- and M-class events are probable with the chance of an X-class event as well.

The position of NOAA 9742 on December 26 at 18:00 UT: N12W68 (Solar X = 886", Solar Y = 217")
