Dear HESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 9767 is starting to rotate into view. This is the general area of the southeast limb where the X3.4 event occurried on December 28. Several large sunspots are in view but the region is to close too the east limb to ascertain its magnetic complexity. Maybe several regions.
