Dear HESSI collaborators,

NOAA 9773 continues to develop in size and magnetic complexity and is expected to produce M- and X-class activity. There are still strong gradients across the inversion line of the delta, which is also highly kinked.

The position of NOAA 9773 on 11-Jan-2002 14:00 UT is:

N14 W25, ( 401", 299" )

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/9773.html for further details.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher and Bill Marquette, Emergent IT/NASA GSFC and BBSO/NJIT.
