Dear HESSI collaborators,

NOAA 9773 appears to be beginning to fragment as it approaches the west limb. In particular, the cluster of spots forming the delta is now less compact than yesterday. C- and M-class events expected with a chance for an X.

The position of NOAA 9773 on 14-Jan-2002 15:00 UT is:

N16W67, (866", 297")

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/9773.html for further details.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher, Emergent IT/NASA GSFC.
