Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear HESSI collaborators,

NOAA 9775 is now just over the east limb and so we will therefore be switching targets. NOAA regions 9782 and 9785 form a large complex of spots close to the central meridian and are likely to produce low and possibly intermediate level activity.

The position of NOAA 9782 on 17-Jan-2002 15:00 UT is:

N06W04 (67",183").

The position of NOA 9785 on 17-Jan-2002 15:00 UT is:

N10E05 (-84",250").

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/9785.html for further details.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher, Emergent IT/NASA GSFC.
