Dear HESSI collaborators,

Congratulations to all in the HESSI team! Solar activity has been relatively high recently, with no less than four M-class flares being observed in the past three days. NOAA 9802 continues to maintain it's beta-gamma-delta configuration and is expected to produce further C and possibly M-class events. The region is also in close proximity to the developing beta region, NOAA 9816.

The position of NOAA 9802 on 6-Feb-2002 14:00 UT is:

S15W64 ( 846", -204" )

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/9802.html for further details.

Regards,

Peter Gallagher, Emergent IT/NASA GSFC.
