Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI collaborators,

Target region, NOAA 9893/9901, produced numerous C- and two M-class events since the last message including an M3.7 at 04/15/00:14, C-9.8 at 04/15/02:51, M1.2 at 04/15/03:55 and the C3.0 at 04/15/11:42 UT. Further C- and M-class events are expected before west limb passage. NOAA 9906 has slightly decayed and appears to have lost its delta configuration, but is still capable of producing a major flare. We will continue to select 9893/9901 as the target hoping to catch a limb flare.

The position of NOAA 9893/9901 on April 15 at 15:00 UT: 9893, N20W76 (Solar X = 872", Solar Y = 346") 9901, N22W65 (Solar X = 805", Solar Y = 393")

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest and www.lmsal.com/solarsoft/last_events for images and further details.
