Dear RHESSI collaborators,

It is now clear that NOAA 9973 contains two deltas: the first is located at the groups western most point, while the second larger delta is located in the trailer. This (possibly naked eye?) region produced several C-class events yesterday together with an M1.6 at 17:11 UT. Further C- and M-class activity expected with a chance for an X.

The position of NOAA 9973 on 31-May-2002 11:00 UT is:

S16E42, ( -610", -252" )

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/9973.html for further details.
