Dear RHESSI collaborators,

The beta-gamma-delta region NOAA 0030 has maintained a complex magnetic configuration although has not as yet produced significant activity. There is a distinctive X-shaped magnetic feature visible in the center of the region which is overlaid by a very bright loop system in EIT 28.4 nm (Fe XV). C- and M-class events expected with a chance for an X.

The position of NOAA 0030 on 14-jul-2002 18:00 UT is:

 N19E13 (-201",242")

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/0030.html for images and solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,
