Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI collaborators,

NOAA 0069 produced an M1.8 and several C-class flares over the past 24-hours. The region contains two strong deltas, the eastermost of which has decayed slightly since yesterday. There are also strong gradients visible along the magnetic inversion line of the trailing portions of the group. Further C- and M-class events expected with a chance for an X.

The position of NOAA 0069 14-Aug-2002 13:00 UT is:

S07E42, ( -631", -195" )

See www.bbso.njit.edu/arm/latest/0069.html for images and solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,
